Interesting fact.
Investor’s lured to The Carlyle group by my dad during his time there included “The Bin Laden Group.” The construction conglomerate owned by the family of Osama Bin Laden.
In January 2006 dad wrote to China’s Foreign Affairs Ministry that it would be "beneficial to the comprehensive development of Sino-US relations" if Beijing approved the sale of a Chinese bank to a consortium which included Carlyle. Bluntly put, Bush Sr. asked China to grant Carlyle a lucrative business deal or risk his son's wrath. foreign policy at its finest.

Crest Investment Company

The Crest Investment Company is a private investment company which among other things generates private contracts in Iraq. It is run by an old family friend Jamal Daniel. Who was working for them in 1993? My brother Neil Bush.

Winston Partners

Another one of my brothers is Marvin Pierce Bush. He is the co-founder of Winston Partners, a private investment firm that invests in. . . . . . you’ve guest it military and security firms. Are you beginning to detect a pattern here?

Government

Two trillion dollars is the estimated final cost of the war with Iraq.

That works out at $6,666 for every man woman and child in U.S., $33,333 for a family of 5. Of course for those of you who have lost a husband or a father that probably sounds pretty cheap.

Now that money doesn’t just disappear into a big black hole. Every penny of it finds its way into somebody’s pocket somewhere and a nice good chunk of it goes to my friends and family. Come take a look.
